BEIJING, July 29 (Reuters) - China's industry minister on Tuesday called on the U.S.-China Business Council to encourage more U.S. firms to invest in China and create favourable conditions for the healthy development of Sino-U.S. industrial cooperation and trade exchange.
Minister Li Lecheng made the remarks during a meeting with a U.S.-China Business Council delegation in Beijing, according to a statement from the Chinese ministry.
Representatives from Apple, Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc and OTIS attended the meeting, according to the statement.
