Israel says European move to curb its access to Horizon program 'unjustified'

July 28 (Reuters) - Israel's foreign ministry said on Monday a recommendation by European commissioners to curb Israeli participation in the European Union's Horizon research funding program was "mistaken, regrettable and unjustified".
"Israel will work to ensure that this recommendation is not adopted by the EU Foreign Affairs Council, and we hope that will indeed be the case," the Foreign Ministry said in a post on X.
