Discussions continue over wines and spirits tariff exemption in EU-US trade deal, says EU official

BRUSSELS, July 28 (Reuters) - Discussions are continuing regarding any tariff exemptions for the wines and spirits sectors in the framework trade deal between the European Union and United States, a senior European Commission official said on Monday.
The official added that talks in this regard were more advanced in the spirits sector, as opposed to the wines sector.
