EDINBURGH, July 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick are headed to Scotland for high-level trade talks with European Union officials, an administration source said on Saturday, expressing cautious optimism that a deal can reached.
The officials are due to arrive later Saturday, ahead of a meeting on Sunday afternoon between U.S. President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
"We're cautiously optimistic that there will be a deal reached," the source said.
