US, Mexico sign memorandum of understanding on sewage issue, US official says

WASHINGTON, July 24 (Reuters) - Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin said on Thursday he was signing a memorandum of understanding with Mexico to achieve a permanent solution to what he described as the decades-old "Tijuana River sewage crisis."
Zeldin, who traveled to Mexico earlier in the day, made the announcement in a post on X.
