US State Dept approves potential sale of surface-to-air missiles to Egypt

July 24 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of a national advanced surface-to-air missile system and related elements of logistics and program support to Egypt for an estimated $4.67 billion, the Pentagon said in a statement on Thursday.
The principal contractor for the sale is RTX Corp RTX.N, the statement said.
