- Energy services provider EnerSys ENS.N said on Tuesday it would lay off about 575 employees, or 11% of its non-production global workforce, focused primarily on corporate and management positions.

As of March 31, the company had 10,858 employees globally.

EnerSys forecast one-time charges of $15 million to $20 million related to the restructuring in the second and third quarters of fiscal 2026.

The company expects the layoffs to be substantially complete by the end of the second quarter and anticipates the changes to result in $80 million in annualized savings beginning in fiscal 2026.
