CORRECTED-Israeli military: citizens crossed into Syria near Druze village

July 19 (Reuters) - The Israeli military said on Saturday that dozens of Israeli civilians crossed into Syrian territory in the area of Majdal Shams, a Druze village in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, and used violence against the forces trying to disperse them.
Israel's public broadcaster Kan said the civilians were members of Israel's Druze communities and that those who crossed into Syria had returned within two hours.
