Exclusive: Ledgebrook hires Gallagher Re's Grether and Guy Carpenter’s Shapiro reinsurance and strategy roles

July 16 - (The Insurer) - E&S insurtech Ledgebrook has hired former Gallagher Re executive Chris Grether and Guy Carpenter's Ben Shapiro in reinsurance and strategy roles, a Ledgebrook spokesperson confirmed to The Insurer.
San Francisco-based Grether has joined as senior vice president for reinsurance and strategy after eight years with Gallagher Re and predecessor firm Willis Re.
Shapiro, who served as assistant vice president at Guy Carpenter for less than a year, is set to join Ledgebrook as vice president of reinsurance and strategy.
