US appeals court temporarily stays termination of Afghans' protected status

WASHINGTON, July 14 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Monday has for now blocked the Trump administration from removing the temporary protective status of thousands of Afghans, court documents showed.
An administrative stay on the termination of temporary protected status for Afghans will remain until July 21, according to an order from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
