July 10 - (The Insurer) - Starpeak has renewed its long-standing binder with Axa XL’s UK and Lloyd’s business, with the digital MGA’s commercial director Andy Brownsell declaring the capacity partnership “central” to its long-term strategy.
Renewal of the binder means the capacity partnership between Starpeak and Axa XL has been in place for 10 years.
As Starpeak explained, since April 2015, it has worked collaboratively with Axa XL’s UK and Lloyd’s business to expand product offerings and provide what it described as “industry-leading coverage” for personal trainers, sports clubs, coaching businesses and others.
Axa XL’s UK and Lloyd’s business provides underwriting capacity to both of Starpeak’s customer-facing brands, SportsCover Direct and Protectivity
“This renewal continues a long-standing and highly valued partnership that has been fundamental to our growth,” said Brownsell.
“Axa XL’s UK and Lloyd’s business’ continued support not only provides secure and stable capacity but also empowers us to confidently invest in the development of new products and services.
“As we look ahead, this relationship remains central to our long-term strategy, enabling us to expand our specialist offerings and drive sustained growth in a rapidly evolving market,” Brownsell added.
