- (The Insurer) - WTW on Thursday named Cédric Thibault as director in its insurance consulting and technology (ICT) business as it looks to strengthen its presence in Bermuda's (re)insurance market.

Thibault, who has over two decades of experience in life, annuities, insurance and reinsurance, joins from KPMG Canada, where he led key financial reporting and reinsurance structuring. He previously held senior roles at Munich Re in Germany and Canada.

At WTW ICT, Thibault will work on driving revenue growth, leading client delivery teams and supporting engagements spanning M&A, financial modeling, regulatory issues and product development.

Mary Bahna-Nolan, senior director and North American life division leader at WTW ICT, said Thibault’s deep knowledge of the Bermuda and Barbados markets will be “a major asset” as WTW scales up its consulting and technology offerings in the region.

The move reflects WTW’s broader strategy to deepen its capabilities across key global insurance hubs.

The broker's ICT division combines advisory services with technology to serve over 1,000 insurance clients globally, supported by 1,700 professionals in 35 markets.
