
July 10 - Canada's main stock index opened flat on Thursday, as gains in mining and technology shares were offset by losses in energy shares, while investors assessed U.S. tariff threats and awaited signs of progress on trade talks.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was flat at 26,974.43 points.
