ROME, July 10 (Reuters) - Russia should face tougher sanctions to increase pressure on it to halt the war in Ukraine, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Thursday.
"The path for us is clear: to continue to support Ukraine and on the other hand, to maintain or to indeed increase the pressure on Russia, above all through sanctions," Meloni said, speaking to reporters alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy after the opening of a conference in Rome on support for Ukraine's recovery.
