KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 (Reuters) - Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on Thursday he discussed Washington's trade tariffs with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who he said would consider Malaysia's views.
Anwar said the U.S. wanted to increase cooperation with the ASEAN region and understood its need to trade with others. He made the remarks in a video released by his office. Rubio is attending a regional meeting of foreign ministers in Malaysia.
