July 9 - (The Insurer) - Cyber MGA Trivora Insurance has hired Amanda Lipps as director of distribution and underwriting – cyber.
Lipps has 18 years of experience driving growth across underwriting, distribution strategy and carrier partnerships.
She most recently was vice president of cyber and tech E&S underwriting at Ambridge, a role she held since October 2024.
Lipps has also worked as a cyber and technology underwriter at Axa XL, Coalition and Chubb and has also held roles at Risk Placement Services, Starr and Brown & Brown.
“With a sharp eye for insurance technology and digital enablement, she has a proven track record of delivering market-driven solutions that elevate broker engagement and operational efficiency," Trivora said in a LinkedIn post.
Farhan Shah-led Elixir Technology Holdings last week officially launched MGA brand Trivora Insurance to initially focus on the cyber market.
Elixir Technology Holdings was set up last year with former Vantage chief technology and information security officer Shah as CEO and former Vouch head of underwriting Keith Beach as president.
In September last year, Elixir announced the hire of chief underwriting officer Caroline Thompson from Cowbell.
