WASHINGTON, July 9 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he would release more letters to countries notifying them of higher tariff U.S. rates on Wednesday and Thursday, including Brazil.
"Brazil, as an example, has not been good to us, not good at all," Trump told reporters at an event with West African leaders at the White House. "We're going to be releasing a Brazil number, I think, later on this afternoon or tomorrow morning."
Trump said the tariff rates announced this week were based on "very, very substantial facts" and past history.
