July 8 - (The Insurer) - Amwins Special Risk Underwriters (SRU) has launched an all-risk habitational property program, the company said on Tuesday, backed by carriers with an A-minus or better rating.
The property solution, called HabVantage, offers all-risk coverage including flood and earthquake and is available in all 50 states and D.C.
The program is structured to support a broad range of habitational risks, ranging from single-location schedules to large portfolios.
SRU was formed in 2008 and serves as Amwins in-house MGA, offering 14 products.
These include the April launch of CoverCap, an E&S program providing primary property cover for middle market risks
Amwins launched an E&S program providing primary property coverage and its new excess casualty sidecar program in April.
Earlier in April, Amwins announced the launch of its new excess casualty sidecar program, confirming earlier reporting from this publication that the wholesaler’s Special Risk Underwriters unit had brought the new MSIG capacity-backed offering to market.
