NEW YORK, July 1 (Reuters) - Bridgewater Associates' flagship hedge fund Pure Alpha 18% volatility posted a 17% gain in the first half of 2025, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The performance comes in a turbulent period for markets, amid concerns about U.S. trade policies. Still, the S&P 500 .SPX and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC ended June up roughly 5.5%, at record closing highs.
Last year, Pure Alpha was up 11.3%.
