BEIJING, July 1 (Reuters) - China hopes Thailand will maintain "stability", a spokesperson at the Chinese foreign ministry said on Tuesday, after a Thai court suspended Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra from duty.
"This is an internal affair of Thailand's, and I will not comment on it, but as a friendly neighbour, we hope that Thailand will maintain stability and development," the spokesperson, Mao Ning, said at a regular press conference.
