- A company controlled by private equity firm Advent International has offered an about 3.5% stake in parcel locker firm InPost INPST.AS to institutional investors, a bookrunner said on Tuesday.

Advent's company AI Prime & Cy S.C.A. offered 17.5 million InPost shares via an accelerated placing at 13.25 euros ($15.61) per share, a discount of 6% to Monday's closing price of 14.1 euros in Amsterdam.

Once the placing is settled, AI Prime will own an around 6.5% stake in InPost, the bookrunner said.

The company had also sold an about 4% stake in InPost in September 2024 at 17 euros per share.

Advent had bought a majority stake in InPost in 2017 and was its biggest shareholder until it sold part of its stake to Czech investment firm PPF Group. PPF owns 28.75% in the parcel company, according to InPost's website.

Under Advent, InPost has in recent years built up its dominant position in Poland, with its automated parcel lockers dotted around cities and towns, and accelerated international expansion.

InPost's shares are down around 15% so far this year due to worries over its major customer Allegro ALEP.WA becoming less dependent on InPost for delivery.
