Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions launches new coverage for incident responders

June 30 - (The Insurer) - Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions, a WR Berkley Company, has launched a new endorsement aimed at supporting incident responders during cyber breach events.

The Incident Responder Enhancement Endorsement offers coverage for the human impact faced by teams handling cyber crises.

It provides reimbursement for cancelled vacations, child and elder care, corporate safety costs and crisis counselling coverage, all offered with no retention and outside the limits of liability.

“The financial burdens faced by employees on the front lines of breach events can inhibit their ability to address the crisis without distraction,” said Rich Sheridan, chief claims officer of Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions.
