Trump says it "would be great" if Powell lowers rate

June 27 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Friday that it "would be great" if Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell lowered interest rates.
"The only problem we have is we have a Fed guy that doesn't understand what's happening. And it would be great if it lower the rate, because we'd be able to borrow a lot cheaper," he said during a White House news conference.
