SiriusPoint hires Catalina's Pryde as CRO

June 27 - (The Insurer) - SiriusPoint has appointed Andrew Pryde as group chief risk officer, the company said on Friday.

Pryde, who will assume the role in September 2025, will be based in Bermuda and will report to Scott Egan, chief executive officer at SiriusPoint.

He joins from Catalina Re in Bermuda, where he held the same position for the last two years, prior to that he worked in London for over 25 years across multiple companies including Beazley and Darag.

Pryde will take over from Andreas Kull, who will remain with the company until September to ensure a smooth transition.
