Roosevelt Road Specialty appoints RB Jones' Cook as property CUO

June 26 - (The Insurer) - Roosevelt Road Specialty has hired Brendan Cook, former vice president and director at RB Jones, as its chief underwriting officer for property.

Cook has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

At RB Jones, he led property underwriting and operations, overseeing multiple lines including middle market, large property, flood, builders’ risk and terrorism.

Prior to that, he held roles at QBE North America, Crum & Forster, Citation Re, Gen Re, Facultative Resources and Wesfarmers Insurance.

In his new role, Cook will lead Roosevelt Road Specialty’s property underwriting strategy, guiding risk selection, portfolio management and underwriting innovation across the platform.
