ANKARA, June 24 (Reuters) - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that defence trade limitations between NATO countries should be lifted unconditionally, adding that Turkey wanted to host the NATO summit in 2026.
Speaking at a press conference in Ankara before flying to The Hague to attend the NATO summit, Erdogan said Turkey was planning new steps towards peace between Russia and Ukraine. He also welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
