Italy PM says higher defence spending must benefit Italian firms

ROME, June 24 (Reuters) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni told parliament on Tuesday that if the country spends more on defence to meet its international commitments, the extra outlays should benefit Italian companies rather than foreign ones.
