Spain PM tells NATO he opposes raising defence spending to 5% of GDP, TVE reports

MADRID, June 19 (Reuters) - Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has sent a letter to NATO saying he will oppose raising the alliance's defence spending target to 5% of gross domestic product, state broadcaster TVE reported on Thursday.
Sanchez's press office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
