June 17 - (The Insurer) - Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Neal Bhatnagar as president, major accounts, of global risk solutions in North America, replacing Mike Fallon, who will retire in January 2026 and remain as a senior advisor to the GRS North America leadership team.
Bhatnagar's appointment is effective July 7.
He will report to GRS North America president Marc Orloff and focus on the financial and operational performance of the segment that partners with risk managers at large companies and the brokers who support them to mitigate, and manage complex risks.
Bhatnagar is currently executive vice president, major accounts casualty. He joined GRS in that role in 2021.
“Neal’s strategic approach, deep expertise and inclusive leadership style made him the ideal candidate to continue to deliver value to our largest clients and their brokers,” Orloff said.
Fallon, who has held the role since 2021, has been with Liberty Mutual for nearly 30 years and served in several positions within GRS North America.
In May, Liberty Mutual appointed Wesley Hyatt to the new role of global chief client officer for GRS, leading a new globally connected client practice set up to help insureds navigate evolving risks.
