KANANASKIS, Alberta, June 17 (Reuters) - Trade talks with the United States are complex, but the objective remains to reach a deal by a July 9 deadline, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday after President Donald Trump said the EU was being "unfair".
"It's complex but we are advancing, that is good, and I push hard to pick up more speed, so we are mixed in the negotiations, and we will see what the end brings," she told reporters on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Canada.
She also added that given the rise in oil prices there was no pressure for now to reduce a cap on Russian oil further.
