June 17 (Reuters) - British finance minister Rachel Reeves is considering reversing a decision to charge inheritance tax on the global assets of non-domiciled residents, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing government officials and financiers briefed on the discussions.
In October last year, Reeves announced she would close exemptions that let wealthy, often foreign residents, avoid tax on overseas income, helping to raise 12.7 billion pounds ($17.24 billion) over the next five years.
Reuters could not immediately verify the report.
