PARIS, June 17 (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron said he had been given positive signals from U.S. President Donald Trump on whether he would allow a bill proposed by U.S. senators that would impose sanctions on Russia to go forward.
"The question I asked this morning to President Trump is whether he would let these U.S. senators advance and he answered relatively positively, which is good news for me," Macron told reporters at the G7 summit.
