PARIS, June 13 (Reuters) - French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday that France had repeatedly condemned the Iran nuclear programme and reaffirmed Israel's right to protect itself, after Israel launched attacks on Iran and Tehran vowed to retaliate.
Writing in a post on social media platform X, Macron said he had spoken with several world leaders, including Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's crown prince, and U.S. President Donald Trump.
He did not say if he had spoken with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
