June 13 - (The Insurer) - HDI Global SE has relocated Haris Michaels and promoted Stevan Bonic, both engineering underwriters in the Asia-Pacific region, the company said on Thursday.
Haris Michaels, from HDI Global SE's Australasian engineering underwriting team, has relocated from Sydney to Singapore to take on a regional role focused on energy and engineering. Michaels joined HDI Global in 2013 and has nearly two decades of experience in the energy and construction sectors, previously leading the engineering and construction underwriting team in Australia.
Stevan Bonic, also from HDI Global SE, has been promoted to underwriting manager engineering, Australasia, succeeding Michaels. Bonic joined HDI Global SE in 2020 as a senior engineering underwriter. He has over a decade of underwriting experience, including a tenure at P&C insurer AIG, and most recently served as technical underwriting manager engineering, Australasia.
HDI Global said the changes were in response to demand for specialised expertise in construction, energy, infrastructure and renewables across Southeast Asia and Australasia.
