Trump signs executive order on wildfire prevention

WASHINGTON, June 12 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday that directed the top officials of the Interior and Agriculture Departments to consolidate their wildland fire programs.

The order also directed the defense secretary to prioritize the sale of excess aircraft and aircraft parts to support wildfire mitigation and response, the White House said in a statement.
