During the period, under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the group's total revenue was €9.555 billion, up 6% year-on-year, largely in line with market expectations. Net profit attributable to the parent company was €1.932 billion, a 9% increase year-on-year. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) was €1.65, compared to €1.51 in the same period last year, representing a 9% year-on-year increase.

This follows an announcement by Tesla CEO Elon Musk that Tesla will use Intel's advanced 14A manufacturing process to produce AI chips for its Terafab project, making Tesla the first major customer for Intel's 14A technology.
