Exclusive: Ambridge head of cyber Norton exits Amynta-owned MGA platform

- (The Insurer) - Amynta-owned Ambridge Group’s head of cyber Jeff Norton has stepped down from his post after seven years with the company and predecessor firm, senior wholesale cyber sources told Cyber Risk Insurer.

A spokesperson for Ambridge did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Norton did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Norton had been in the role with Ambridge Group since June 2021, and before that was with Fairfax-owned Brit since 2018. Brit owned Ambridge until selling the MGA to Amynta at the beginning of 2023.

Before Brit, Norton spent nearly a decade with Beazley as an underwriter focused on professional liability, specializing in information security and privacy liability, technology E&O, miscellaneous professional liability and media liability.

Details on whether Norton has another role lined up or the circumstances of his departure could not immediately be confirmed.
