Sen. Padilla says he was forced to ground, handcuffed during Noem press conference

June 12 (Reuters) - The office of California Democratic Senator Alex Padilla said on Thursday he was forced to the ground and handcuffed after being removed from a Department of Homeland Security press conference with Secretary Kristi Noem about ongoing protests in California.
Padilla is currently not detained, according a statement from his office.
