Preferred Employers adds Liberty's Hong as AVP of programs and distribution

June 6 - (The Insurer) - Berkley company Preferred Employers Insurance has hired Peter Hong, former regional relationship manager at Liberty Mutual, as assistant vice president of programs and distribution operations.
Hong has over 20 years of experience in the industry.
In his new role, Hong will collaborate with underwriting, marketing, broker and association partners as Preferred continues to evolve its programs, tailor its customer experience, and expand its reach across California.
"(Hong's) deep distribution expertise and strategic vision will help us scale with purpose — growing our footprint while staying true to our mission of being California's preferred workers' compensation solution," said Akbar Khan, president of Preferred Employers Insurance.
