DUBAI, June 6 (Reuters) - The U.S backed-Gaza Humanitarian Foundation said on Friday that all its aid distribution sites in the enclave were closed and a reopening date would be announced later, urging residents to stay away from these sites "for their safety".
Work at the sites was halted in response to a series of deadly shootings close to the operations.
The group, which has been fiercely criticised by humanitarian organisations, including the United Nations, began distributing aid last week.
