ICC: US sanctions on four judges is a clear attempt to undermine independence

THE HAGUE, June 5 (Reuters) - The International Criminal Court said on Thursday that the sanctions imposed by the U.S. President Donald Trump's administration on four of its judges was an attempt to undermine its independence.
"These measures are a clear attempt to undermine the independence of an international judicial institution... The ICC stands fully behind its personnel, and will continue its work undeterred," it said in a statement.
