Ecopetrol CEO denounces death threats over sexual orientation
BOGOTA, June 4 (Reuters) - The chief executive of Colombia's Ecopetrol ECO.CN, Ricardo Roa, said on Wednesday he has received death threats and harassment due to his sexual orientation.
Roa, who is openly gay, also said that a digital analysis procedure within a cybersecurity protocol started in May found 29 cases that could have violated security protocols and leaked confidential internal information.
