Epic adds WTW’s Torborg as Northeast president

June 2 - (The Insurer) - Epic Insurance Brokers & Consultants has hired Karen Beldy Torborg as president, Northeast region, succeeding Len Scioscia, who has transitioned to chairman of the region.

Torborg has more than 30 years of experience in client advisory, practice leadership and strategic growth within the insurance brokerage and consulting industry.

She most recently served as head of strategic growth and portfolio management for North America in WTW’s corporate risk and broking business.

Torborg also held multiple senior leadership roles at Marsh, including global head of its private equity and M&A services and infrastructure businesses.
