LONDON, June 2 (Reuters) - Ukraine's GDP-linked warrant slid on Monday after the government said it would default on a payment of more than half a billion dollars due to holders.
The warrant, a debt instrument desiged to pay out based on economic performance, fell by 1.8 cents in morning trade to bid at 70.66 cents on the dollar.
On Friday, the government said it said it would not make a $665 million payment due on Monday, based on 2023 economic performance, but would continue to seek a restructuring of the instrument.
