BUDAPEST, June 2 (Reuters) - A victory by Polish nationalist opposition candidate Karol Nawrocki in Poland's presidential election brings a "fresh victory for (European) patriots", Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on his Facebook page on Monday.
Szijjarto congratulated Nawrocki, who won Sunday's second round of the presidential election with 50.89% of votes, according to Poland's electoral commission.
Nawrocki's rival, Rafal Trzaskowski, the liberal Warsaw mayor and ally of the government led by Donald Tusk, got 49.11%.
