Cuba issues verbal warning to top U.S. diplomat in Havana for "disrespectful conduct"
HAVANA, May 30 (Reuters) - Cuba`s foreign ministry said on Friday that it had called in the United States` top diplomat in Havana to formally complain of behavior it called "disprectful" and "intervenionist."
Cuba`s decision to issue a verbal warning to U.S. Chief of Mission Mike Hammer comes just days after Hammer, who has traveled widely to meet with political dissidents on the island, said the Trump administration was preparing further sanctions against the communist-run nation.
