Atrium appoints Payne as deputy head of digital underwriting

May 29 - (The Insurer) - Specialty insurer Atrium has promoted Adam Payne to deputy head of digital underwriting as it looks to ramp up its digital capabilities, the company said on Thursday.
Payne will work along with Simon Lewis, head of digital underwriting, to enhance the insurer’s digital strategy and develop operational efficiency for brokers and clients.
He will oversee the rollout of digital underwriting across the business, including AUGold, Atrium’s proprietary quote-and-bind platform.
Atrium said AUGold has seen robust growth, having recently launched a full lifecycle API for agency partners and expanded its product lines.
