
May 29 (Reuters) - Royal Bank of Canada RY.TO reported a jump in second-quarter profit on Thursday, as the country's biggest bank benefited from the acquisition of HSBC's domestic business and its wealth management business performed well.
The bank posted adjusted profit of C$4.53 billion ($3.28 billion, or C$3.12 per share, in the three months ended April 30, compared with C$4.2 billion, or C$2.92 per share, a year earlier.
