Rubio reiterates "good faith dialogue with Ukraine" as only path to war's end in call with Russian foreign minister

May 28 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio doubled down on President Donald Trump's calls for "good faith dialogue" between Ukraine and Russia as the only path to ending the war when he spoke with his Russian counterpart on Wednesday, the department said.
During the call with Russian Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, Rubio praised the "1000-for-1000" prisoner exchange that occurred over the weekend between Russian and Ukraine, according to a readout.
