Trump to consider pardon of men convicted in conspiracy to kidnap Michigan governor

WASHINGTON, May 28 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he will look into pardons of the two men convicted in 2022 of leading a conspiracy to kidnap Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
"I will take a look at it. It's been brought to my attention. I did watch the trial. It looked to me like somewhat of a railroad job," Trump told reporters gathered in the Oval Office when asked if we was considering pardons.
